GRAND KNIGHT S MESSAGE Brother Knights In January, we continued our breakfast at Central Catholic School and raised more money for our charitable events. Due to the weather we had less people show up than previous breakfasts, but everyone had their fill. We are hoping for better weather and a better turn out in February. On Monday, February 25, we will have our next social meeting and first fraternal event of 2019 at McQ s bar. Come join us for a drink and some food and meet your fellow members. In March, we will continue to focus on Fraternity with our next membership drive on the first weekend, March 2nd & 3rd, and our next 1st degree exemplification on the 4th Monday. Please come and join us for these events. Continue reading our newsletter and checking the website for updates and new events. If you would like volunteer in anyway (time, money, prayers, etc.) for or chair one of our events or committees this fraternal year or simply have questions please feel free to contact me. 4 1ST DEGREE EXEMPLIFICATION Monday March 25, :30pm at New members, please arrive on time or before 6:30pm REALITY BOARD UPDATE Since we moved from our building in June 2017 the Reality board has looked at numerous locations on the south side. Due to zoning issues or cost to remodel issues, as well as cost issues, none of these locations has resulted in a purchase. Currently the decision has been made to purchase property, get any needed zoning changes approved as a condition of purchase and build about a 5000 square ft. building for our needs. We are currently very close to submitting an offer for purchase of land. Hopefully we will have more information at our next Member s meeting on the 2nd Monday of the month.
