1 MINISTERING TO CHRISTIAN STUDENTS A former teacher, coach and life-long minister to students, Tommy loves speaking to high school & college students about their struggles & desires and how Jesus Christ will make a difference in their making wise decisions. In regard to ministering to students Tommy has a rich background of experiences including Being Twice nominated as NC Teacher of the Year for public schools Nominated as NC Most Creative Teacher for public schools Selected as Asheville s Man of the Year Selected as One of NC Top 5 Young Men of the Year Twice selected to the national publication of Outstanding Young Men of America The sponsor of the largest high school FCA Chapter in the nation (250 students) The founder of Rolling Vibrations a Christian bicycling /singing ministry. In 10 years students pedaled over 20,000 miles through 25 states and 12 countries while witnessing to thousands of people who had never stepped inside an evangelical church Recognized as having one of top 100 student ministries in the country ( Raleigh, NC )

4 Staley Distinguished Scholar Alice Lloyd College WHAT HAPPENED --- Tommy was invited to speak to the student body & faculty as part of the national Staley Distinguished Scholar series. A roomful of students who were moved by Tommy s presentation asked him to join with them later that evening to pray & plan how too strategically reach their campus for Christ. Numerous students made a commitment to either accept Jesus Christ or to rededicate their lives to Him during this special weekend.

5 WHERE Hilton Head Christian Academy, Hilton Head, South Carolina WHO --- Tommy spoke to the following audiences: A daily school - wide chapel service to students, faculty & staff A special meeting for parents without children A special meeting for coaches, athletes& their parents WHAT HAPPENED --- Tommy was the speaker for Spiritual Emphasis Week which resulted in many lives being spiritually impacted and many decisions recorded. Several students & staff shared what God was doing in their lives during the week. Several churches in the community heard of what was happening and asked Tommy to speak to their youth during the week as well.

6 WHERE Montreat College, Montreat, North Carolina Montreat was the home of Billy & Ruth Graham WHO --- Tommy spoke to the following audiences on several occasions: Montreat College Athetic Banquets Montreat College Bible Studies Montreat College Chapel Service for students, faculty & staff Montreat College Retreats Montreat Church Sunday School Class Rolling Vibrations Bicycle Tours Rolling Retreat Bus Tours WHAT HAPPENED Many lives of students, staff, faculty and residents of the Montreat Community were changed over the course of Tommy s involvement over 8 years of ministry to the Montreat Community
