Residents & Staff celebrated our wonderful volunteers with a mass in their honor followed by breakfast. Thank you for all the time & talent you give to the Manor. May Guest Speaker Our very own administrator, Ann Thibodaux will speak Monday, May 22 at 10:30 in the Chapel on Hurricane Preparation. All are welcomed to attend.

3 Welcome St. Joseph Manor would like to wish a warm welcome to Mrs. Jo Anne Babin Pierce. Ms. Jo Anne was born & raised in St. Charles Community. She & her Husband, Franklin, moved to Thibodaux 12 years ago when they inherited his aunt s home. She met Mr. Franklin at a dance but it took him 3 years before he would ask her to dinner. They had their first date at Bilello s. They have four children; Patricia, Peggy, Allison, & Frankie, & four grandsons. They were married for over 60 years. Ms. Jo Anne began working at the age of 15 at St. Joseph Hospital as an aide & later in the office until she gave birth to her first child. She use to enjoy going to the casino with her mom. In her past time, she enjoys visiting & talking to people. Welcome St. Joseph Manor would like to wish a warm welcome to Mr. Bonnie Blanchard. Mr. Bonnie was born on George Plantation in Assumption Parish. He lived most of his life in Assumption Parish except for a short time in Thibodaux as a young boy when his father worked on his grandfather s farm. Mr. Bonnie served in the army during the Korean War. He was stationed in Germany. He married his wife, Genevieve, before being drafted. She was pregnant with their first child when he left for Germany. They have three children; Kenneth, Linda, & Brian (who is now deceased,) four grandsons, & 4 great-grandchildren. They were married for 58 years. Mr. bonnie worked for Texaco for 34 years. He began as a welder working off shore in the gulf. He received five promotions while working at Texaco. He retired as a production manager after working 13 years in the office. Mr. Bonnie enjoys painting portraits which has been a childhood passion of his. May Employee Spotlight Rosalind Gale Scott, also known as Rozie, was born and raised in Thibodaux. She has three children; LeTeya, Jamaal, & Aldrian, & five grand-children; Kallen, Jabari, Jayce Jordan & Jazzlyn Scott. Rosalind s hobbies includesfixing hair, flowers & watching movies on the Lifetime Network. Her favorite things in life are going to church & working at school & the Manor. She is fond of helping the elderly & baking from scratch. Rosalind has worked Manor in the Food at Serves the Department since August 1997 as a kitchen helper & cook. She has also worked for the Lafourche Parish School Board for 21 years. While being a team player is what she values most about her job, the resident s smiles is what is most rewarding to her.
