1 Coach Brown Player/Parent Meeting November 16th, 2018 What we will expect Coach Brown and intro coaches o Academics o Game day dress (Shirt and Tie, Dress Shoes, Dress Pants, OR Team sweats with athletic shoes) Up to the team we just need to be on the same page. o Bus ride home, all players need to ride the team bus. if a special circumstance occurs. o Uniforms Wash in cold separately (white with white and crimson with crimson) o Practice/Strength Training policy Standards of Tradition When we don t have school check the website for practice times. Mother and Father Team Dinners TBD Thanksgiving Break (dead period) No practice Nov consecutive days St George Dec (leave at 1 pm on 18 th, return after varsity game on 22nd) o (So, JV, V) - $50 for lodging (The program will provide for 2 meals per day) o The Team is staying in a house rental instead of a hotel. The address is below. Preston Tournament (9 th only) - Schedule hasn t come out yet (Dec 20-22) 3800 N Paradise Village Drive, #13 Santa Clara, UT (Awesome Arcade House) Christmas Break No practice Dec consecutive days PROCEDURES: 1. Contact the Coach We welcome interaction with the parents. Feel free to contact me. Please do not approach coaches during or after a game with questions concerning the game. Feel free to call the next day. If we need to meet, We will meet with you and your son. 2. Practice You are welcome at practice. If we are in the main gym, please go upstairs. Please be quiet and do not try to coach your child. 3. Games Be supportive of all team members. Represent Logan High School with pride and honor.

Every player counts Each member of the team must take PRIDE in his role. Role Players and starters must contribute to the success of OUR team. Balance. Don t allow things over which you have NO control to adversely affect the things over which you do have control. Team Apparel (checks written out to Logan Boys Basketball ) All apparel is optional see price sheet attached. o Monday...Parents don t have to be there...you can just send a check with your son. o Deduct costs from hours worked (you have credit) o We allow your child to work off the cost in the pre-season. o Limited stock (based on sizes), we will make additional orders if we need to. o Ways to purchase Write check and send it with your son (logan boys basketball) If you need help, please contact coach Brown. o Parents will also be putting together a parent order for other Logan Basketball gear. 3 Crimson and White Game_* Friday November 16th, 2018 LOCATED IN THE MAIN GYM (girls and boys combined) 5:00 pm Intro of all teams -head coaches of each program (Varsity, Soph and Frosh coach) *Head Coaches will introduce players. 5:10 3 pt competition Boys on east end, girls on west end (Senior, Hayden, Soph, 9th) -Girls and boys combined. 4 boys and 4 girls. Girls competing vs girls and boys vs boys - A boy and girl will go at the same time -Unlimited shots total in 30 seconds (have to go to all. 5 spots and rotate every shot)..each shot worth 1 pt, -2 balls, 1 rebounder, 1 passer 5:20 Dunk competition (boys) (Josh, Ike, Nate) Each participant will get 3 Attempts OR 30 seconds. One round. 5:30 Girls warm up (5 min warm up) 5:35 Girls 5 on Min Quarter (JV and V Combined) Girls 5 on Min Quarter (younger levels) (running clock) Leisure ARTS =Frosh boys vs soph boys (1 quarter no refs) Main Gym 5:55 (or right after half) Boys warm up (5 min) 6:00 Boys 5 on 5 half (JV and V) 5 on 5 Scrimmage (2-8 min quarters w/ref) ((last quarter running clock) 6:25 pm Boys parent meeting in Main Gym (all levels )

Returning players may not need to purchase Nike 2 pocket shorts $35 (dark gray) Sport Tek Dry Fit Long Sleeve Hooded Pullover (black) $20 Short Sleeve T-shirt (tri-blend) $15 St George Lodging (So, JV, V only) $50 Pays for house and 2 meals a day. There is a $50 participation fee that needs to be paid through the school (online) The jr Fall League allows your child to work hours that go towards their balance that they can spend on gear however they want. You can write a check for the difference to Logan Boys Basketball
