We call it partners because we need an even amount of players so we can draw for teams and play on table s setup for six or eight players. It makes for a fun night as teams win, move to another table and try their luck at a second round. If you have played Pegs and Jokers before or want to start; we will teach you and make sure the night is full of fun. 3 Upcoming Special Events and Information December 31 st - New Year s Eve Potluck and Game Night. We will start at 6 pm in the Activity Center. Ham will be provided. Please bring a dish and snacks to share. BYOB December 31 st New Year s Eve Dance in the Community Center starts at 8pm $8.00/person Sub Sandwiches, Party Favors and a midnight balloon drop with prize. Bring your own beverage and snacks to share. January 2 nd & January 3 rd Annual Meeting Notification and Voting Packet pickup in the CC. The packets not picked up will be mailed to your address of record no later than January 4, If you do not plan to be in the park at that time and would prefer your packet be held, please notify the Welcome Center at reservations@sunscapervresort.com or January 3 rd - Sunscape Singles and Friends Lunch Golden 11:00 am January 5 th - Bernie and Red Show in the Community Center. January 30 th Dilliard s VIP Shopping Event Tag-a-Long leaving 9:00 Show starts at 9:30am January 31 st - Tovrea Castle Tour Tag-a-Long starts at 9:00am, leaves at 7:45am Tovrea Castle is a historic structure and landmark in Phoenix, Arizona. Originally intended as a centerpiece for a resort and later a private residence, the castle is now part of the Phoenix parks system and is designated as one of the Phoenix Points of Pride. If you would like to take a class in Rug Making, Scrapbooking, Jewelry Making, or if you are interested in learning about your Genealogy through DNA or learning about all the cool features of your new ipad or iphone please let me know. I have people willing to teach. Also looking for someone to teach Spanish Romeo, my gnome, is roaming again. He came home for a short visit and then Please bring him home to me. You will be rewarded. I don t really want to bring in the New Year without him.
