1 VOLUME 2 ISSUE 6 NEWSLETTER DATE OCT/NOV/DEC 2017 L.V. COUNTRY LINE DANCERS OCT/NOV/DEC 2017 What a great Breast Cancer Social we had. A very Big Thank You to all who have supported all our events during the year and our final Social October 10th. And a huge thank you for my Birthday Celebrations as well...was very much appreciated...but you all shouldn t have. :)...but thank you Our Final Tally for the year came in at $ , which includes the 3 clubs, some wonderful donations and an awesome effort from Chris Brister for that beautiful Patch Work Quilt she made :) This now has brought our progressive tally up to $ What a wonderful effort. This tally has included the work of many different instructors and groups over the years and we really appreciate all the effort that has gone into this Fundraising. Having now supported Breast Cancer for 12 years, next year we will fundraise for something that is just as devastating and can somewhat be very silent. Depression and Suicide. This fundraiser will be held on September 30th at the Newborough Public Hall. The event will be run by Linda, Sue and Vi and all the money that comes thru the door on that day will be towards the fundraiser. The colour theme will be Blue for Depression and Yellow for the sunshine hopefully at the end. We haven t yet decided just where the money will go but would like to keep it local. If you have any suggestions then please let us know. We have the next 12 months to work out where best the money might go. Thank you again everyone...you really are a very supportive group :)
