RECRUITMET IITIATIVES 2 Date 2/2/2 //2 //2 /2/2 Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Establishment of an intern program designed to assist members of the community Establishment of training programs for station personnel Participation in Job Fairs Participation in Job Fairs Brief Description Of Activity The Station has an established internship program that allows students to gain practical experience in all areas of our operations, including news, production, sports and weather. The Station hosted one () intern, from Miles College, during the 2 Fall Semester; four () interns, from the University of Alabama, Miles College, Georgia Southwestern State University, and Samford University during the 2 Summer Semester. The station has an established training program which provides station personnel with opportunities to acquire additional skills that may qualify them for higher level positions. During the reporting term there were 28 participants. The Station participated at the Entrepreneurship, Management, Marketing etworking/career Fair ight at Samford University. Station personnel were able to meet with students and discuss vacancies at the Stations and in the broadcasting industry. The Station participated at the Miles College Internship and Job Fair.
