2 MONDAY VOLUNTEER MONDAYS - June 5, 12, 19, 26 We are now incorporating volunteer Mondays into our Calendar of Events. Each Monday morning we will look at carrying out different volunteer opportunities. Supplies will be provided when necessary (i.e. gloves, garbage bags, etc.). June 5 - Humane Society. We will walk dogs and play with the cats. June 12 - Laurier Woods clean up. We will meet in the parking lot off of Brule street. June 19 - Kinsmen Trail clean up. We will meet in the parking lot at Chippewa Secondary School and walk along the path towards O Brien street. June 26 - Community Gardens - Gardening. We will meet at the gardens off of the corner of Algonquin and McLean. Time: 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. **ACTIVITY CANCELLED IF RAINING** SPA AFTERNOON - June 5, 19 It is time for a little pampering; come and enjoy a foot massage or lie down and enjoy a hot rock massage on your back while listening to soft relaxing music. Location: 235 Albert Ave, North Bay Time: 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Cost: $3.00 each CHAMPLAIN PARK - PHOTO SHOOT - June 12 We will be meeting in the parking lot near the Dog Park. We will be taking pictures each month and putting together a calendar at the end of the year. Bring your own camera if you have one. Time: 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. SONGS WITH SERRA - June 13, 27 Serra will entertain us with her nostalgic and funny songs which we can sing-along to. Come and enjoy all of Serra s wonderful talents while spending time with friends. Time: 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. NATIVE DRUMMING - June 13, 27 Sit, enjoy and relax or feel free to drum along. The Native drumming is provided by members of the Rainbow Group. Time: 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. MUSIC WITH MIKE - June 20 Let s welcome Mike and he will be here to entertain you with his wonderful repertoire of music. Time: 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Lunch will be prepared on an individualized basis so please bring support if needed. Time: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Cost: $8.00 each (limited to 8 participants) ADULT COLOURING - June 1, 15, 29 Here is an opportunity to be a part of a bigger picture. We will have a life size mural to colour as a group. Come join the fun. Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. MARCEL AND COMPANY - June 1, 15, 29 Come and enjoy the musical talents of Marcel and his friends. His music includes classic rock, southern rock, blues, country, originals, and more. If you like to sing-a-long or just listen, be sure and drop-in for an hour of fun music. Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Cost: $2.00 STORY TELLING AND CREATIVE WRITING - June 8, 22 Come and enjoy listening to a story or two for the first hour. Afterwards we will all work at writing our own book. Location: North Bay Public Library, 271 Worthington St. E., North Bay Time: 1:30p.m. - 3:30p.m. KNITTING - June 22 We will be continue to increase our knitting skills and practice what we have learned. Our goal is to make a simple project that will go to supporting our troops. Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Cost: $2.00
