1 PASTORAL ACTS: Funeral: Victor Scholten LUNCH IN LENT: Sheldon Ministerial Association invites you to the Lunch In Lent held in the fellowship hall at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Two soups will be offered along with relishes, bread, and drink. The meal is $5.00/person. The sign-up charts are located on the bulletin board by the balcony staircase. For Coffee Fellowship the cookies and bars are optional. If you use your Easter Sunrise offering envelope, your offering will go to the youth. If you use your Sunday weekly offering envelope, your offering will go to the general fund, unless otherwise designated. FIRST COMMUNION CLASSES Fifth grade students are invited to participate in First Communion classes this Spring along with any adults interested! Classes will be on Wednesdays, 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., March 29, and April 5, 12. All participants are also expected to attend Maundy Thursday worship, April 13 at 7:00 p.m. for their First Communion. THE YOUNG ARTIST S HAND This is an opportunity for our young artists to experience the artistic process while exploring the painting talents God has given them. Classes are limited to the first 15 participants to sign up. (A waiting list will be kept if we need to add additional classes.) Registration and payment deadline is Saturday, April 22. Fee: $20. Classes: Saturday, April 29-10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Grades K-4th) It s a jungle out there! Join us in an animal adventure as we learn to draw and paint our furry, slimy, and scaly friends in this wild and wacky world. Saturday, April 29-1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (3rd 8th) How do I get where I m going? Enjoy an afternoon exploring the way we get around this great and beautiful world. Artists will brainstorm, draw and paint real and imaginary ways we travel through this wild ride called life. Sunday, April 30-1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (5th-High School) Life is Sweet! Pre-tween and teens are invited to explore the many blessings God provides. Enjoy an afternoon painting the sweet things in life. MEALS ON WHEELS Thank you to everyone who assisted in delivering meals in March for the Meals On Wheels program in Sheldon. The giving of your time for this ministry need is greatly appreciated. < > EASTER FLOWERS: Donations due by Sunday, April 2.
