5 Thu 6/18 Sun 6/21 Nations Baseball Ohio State & Midwest Regional Championships Games: 4-game minimum Showcase Event Available: Yes This is the 15U, 17U (Rising Seniors) and 18U Nations Baseball Ohio State & Midwest Regional Championship. This Tournament is the State Championship for Ohio and also a Midwest Regional Qualifier for teams in Ohio as well teams from out of State. We will attempt to divide teams by competitive level if so requested, but past years have seen all teams wanting to play together to determine the State Champion and qualifier from the Midwest. Out of state teams are eligible to play for the State Championship, but will be required to play at the highest level of play if we divide the tournament into divisions. As with all Team Sports events the tournament will be well organized with timely communication, played at quality facilities, and have the top umpires. The Tournament will start on Thursday with games beginning late morning and early afternoon. The games will not interfere with the Showcase on Thursday morning. Teams will have a 4 game minimum. Pool Play will be Thursday and Friday followed by Playoff Rounds - Gold - Silver - Bronze - on Saturday and Sunday. Host sites are Thurman Munson Stadium in Canton, Akron University and Kent State University and Mt Union University these sites will be used all 4 days. The other locations will be top high school fields in the Akron / Canton area -- Stow HS, Walsh Jesuit HS, Barberton HS, Woodridge HS, Jackson HS, and St Thomas Aquinas HS to name a few We do plan to have a Player Evaluation & Showcase on Thursday morning for all age groups. The 17u and 18u teams will be advertised to College Scouts. The 15u Showcase will be a player evaluation conducted by College and Academy staff. See website for registration information. Page 5

6 Thu 6/25 Sun 6/28 University of Notre Dame - Irish Select WOOD Bat Location: South Bend, IN with possible travel Wed pending Thu game schedule Games: 4-game minimum with guaranteed game at University of Notre Dame Showcase Event Available: No University of Notre Dame and other collegiate/high school facilities in South Bend, IN will play host to this event. This event will feature pool play followed by championship bracket(s) with all teams receiving 4 guaranteed games, weather permitting. Baseballs will be provided by Pastime Tournaments during this WOOD bat event. There is a one-time gate fee for each adult during this event. Seniors and children are not subject to any gate fees. Note: This is a wood bat tournament. Hotel: Holiday Inn Express 420 W. Holiday Inn Express was the least expensive at $89 / night (compared to others at $129). However, they did not have 18 Doubles but they did the best they could to get rooms with two beds (and extended the lower rate to rooms that otherwise would not have it)...so, if you only need a King bed (1 parent / 1 player), please take one of those 4 rooms. 17 Room Types (I booked my room already): - 6 Doubles w/2 Queens Beds (2 of the 6 are pet friendly) - 5 King with Full Size Sofa Bed - 2 King Jr Suites with Full Size Sofa Bed - 4 King (possible roll away can brought into these) Page 6

7 Fri 7/3 Sun 7/5 Top Gun Classic Games: 4-game minimum Showcase Event Available: Yes This is the one - The 7th Annual Top Gun Classic --Play were the competition is -- Ohio's Best Run and Highest Quality July 4th Tournament. This Tournament has quickly become the event to enter for your July 4th Holiday Baseball Fix. This year we have combined with the July 4th Showcase hosted through the Strike Force Academy. This combination will allow us to provide an expanded field of teams and provide a Professional Evaluation & Showcase Experience for the older participants in tournament. When you play in a Team Sports Event you know the tournament will be well organized with timely communication, be played at quality facilities, and have the top umpires in youth baseball, sanctioned and assigned through the Game Hogz Umpiring School. The 14u 60/90-18U age groups will have a 4 game minimum with many teams playing 5 or more games. Games will be played at fantastic host sites - Thurman Munson Stadium, Kent State University, Mt Union University and local High School Fields in the Akron / Canton area, Jackson HS, Woodridge HS, Firestone HS, St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Walsh Jesuit HS. We do plan to play in the Cleveland area - possible sites include Tri C, Baldwin Wallace College, Hawkin HS, and Berea HS. We do plan to have a Player Showcase on Thursday evening for ages 14u 18u. This Showcase will be a High School Evaluation and Collegiate / Pro Showcase and will be advertised to college and area scouts. Players will get a written evaluation and video opportunity to use in their pursuit of a college scholarship. See website for registration information. 8 Thu 7/9 Sun 7/12 Buckeye Elite Showcase Tournament Location: Columbus, OH Games: 4-game minimum Showcase Event Available: Yes The 2015 event will be held through out Central Ohio starting July 9th to the 12th. The tournament will be limited to the first (96) - U18 teams, (96) - U16 teams, (72) - U15 teams and (32) - U14 teams. We ve sold out early every year, so it s best to apply as soon as possible. The tournament s field will be one of the most competitive in the Midwest. In attendance will be teams from 15 states, as well as Canada. In addition to the highly competitive play, games will be held on 50 of central Ohio s premier high school and college fields, making it one of the most prestigious baseball events in the Midwest. This year s tournament will be a 4-team pool play. Each team will play all teams in their pool. The top 3 teams will advance to Championship play, with the other teams, playing 1 consolation game. The Gold U-18 Championship game will be played at Huntington Park home of the Columbus Clippers the Cleveland Indians farm team. The U-16, U-15 and U-14 Championship games will play at Bill Davis Stadium home of the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Silver U-18, U-16, U-15 and U-14 Championship games will play at Otterbein College. The Bronze U-18, U-16, U-15 and U-14 Championship games will be played at Liberty High School which has an Astro Turf infield. The Gold Champions and runner-ups in each age group will receive a team trophy and individual awards. Gold Champions and Runner-ups will have their team picture placed on the tournament website with past Champions. The Silver, Bronze Champions and runner-ups will each receive trophies. All other teams not making it to the championship rounds will play a consolation game on Saturday. 9 Wed July 15 Sun July 19 17U/18U Elite Baseball World Series - Bowling Green State University & Mercy Field (All Turf Stadium) Location: Bowling Green, OH (w/ guaranteed game at Bowling Green State University) Games: 5-game minimum Showcase Event Available: No Details: 5 game guarantee with top 2 teams in each pool advancing to a DOUBLE elimination round. EACH PLAYER ON THE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM WILL RECEIVE A WORLD SERIES RING Bowling Green State University and Elite Baseball Tournaments would like to welcome you to the 17U/18U Elite Baseball World Series. A Mandatory Coaches Meeting will be held on Wednesday morning, July 8:00am. All teams will begin play on July 15th (morning). Each team will be guaranteed 5 games with the top 2 teams in each bracket advancing to a double elimination bracket beginning on Friday, July 17th (afternoon) and concluding with a Champion on Sunday, July 19th, 2015 (Rain date could push to July 20th). The first 24 teams that register & PAY will be guaranteed a game at the Bowling Green State University. Other top High School Fields & fields will be used. Gate Fees: Each of our fields will be charging a gate fee throughout the tournament. All parents & families need to be aware of this and WE WILL NOT ACCEPT PARENTS OR FAMILIES THAT ARGUE OR RAISE A STINK ABOUT THE GATE FEES. This is a World Series event and these fees are used to keep this event at a high caliber and keep the facilities that we use. Adults ($8.00/daily pass or a $25.00 weekly pass). Kids 7-12 years old ($5.00/daily pass or $15.00/week pass); Children 6 and under will be FREE These passes will allow you into any field per day as many times as you like.
