3 Employers say they enjoy working and engaging with young people, and they find it s a great way to promote their business and careers to potential future employees Cathie Kessell, Senior Partnership Manager

5 [Case study] As part of National Science Week, we hosted a STEM insight day at Flybe Training Academy. Students from across the South West explored a range of workshops including; programming a robotic arm, preventing a nuclear meltdown in VR, and atmospheric sciences focusing on forecasting the weather. Three students who impressed the exhibitors with their enthusiasm have been invited back to Flybe for a tour of the hanger, as well as the exciting opportunity to have a go on one of Flybe s commercial aircraft simulators. Partners included; National Careers Service South West 2017 The Inspiration Agenda: A Guide for Teachers and Careers Professionals

I enjoyed learning about the inner workings of the companies Student from The King s School It went really well, I enjoyed all of the workshops and learnt a lot through the whole process even some geography! Student from West Buckland I have leant a lot of new information that will help with my career choices, so overall a successful day. The different tasks were really fun! Student from ISCA
